Make NSU your destination for pharmacy and graduate education

With the most culturally diverse College of Pharmacy in the U.S., Nova Southeastern University's Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy serves students from around the world. More than 1,000 students from over 30 countries are engaged in our prestigious graduate programs.

Both new and experienced pharmacists study at NSU. The four-year Entry Level Pharm.D. program selects students based on pre-pharmacy academic performance, Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) scores, personal interviews, written applications, and letters of evaluation.

The Advanced Standing Pharm.D. three-year program selects international pharmacy graduates based on previous academic performance, TOEFL/IELTS scores (if applicable), written applications, pharmacy experience, and letters of reference.

Students in the Entry Level program and Advanced Standing program can receive a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) with a concentration in Project Management. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program represents the highest level of preparation for an academic or research-based career, addressing the health-related issues of society.


The two-year Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences program, located at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus, prepares students for for positions in academia, managerial or sales positions in the pharmaceutical industry, contract research organizations, managed care organizations, health care system, and government agencies. The degree also provides additional preparation prior to pursuing a Pharm.D. or Ph.D. degree, or related discipline.

The one-year Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Affairs program provides additional preparation to students prior to applying to the Pharm.D. or Ph.D. programs. The program is offered  in two modalities: in-person at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus, or online.
