WHAT IS SHARxK for a Day - Student Shadow Program?
SHARxK for a Day - Student Shadow Visit Program is an opportunity for high school juniors, seniors, and college students to connect with faculty and students in the college of pharmacy and engage in various activities related to the field.
WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?
SHARxK for a Day - Student Shadow Visit Program will provide students the opportunity to shadow a current NSU ambassador, attend classes, student organization meetings, and experience a day in the life of a current pharmacy student. The shadow experiences will take place during the availability of the pharmacy student with the following schedule:
9:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Lecture
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. - Admissions Information Session
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. - Lunch and Student Organization Meeting
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. - Tour
PROGRAM COST: Free. All students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from NSU COP. An excused absence letter can be provided and documented permission will be requested from high school counselor, parent and/or professors.
WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE: The schedule and date will be based on the participant's and NSU COP student's schedule as well as the classes/activities offered on the day of the visit.
