Dr. Patrick Sullivan has been a leader in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) in academia for more than 25 years.  Before joining the Sociobehavioral & Administrative Pharmacy Department at Nova, Dr. Patrick Sullivan spent two years as Vice President of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) for Precision Medicine.   Prior to that, Dr. Sullivan was a tenured professor of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and subsequently Regis University School of Pharmacy.   Dr. Sullivan has been a PI on many HEOR grants and projects and has published over 80 peer-reviewed primary research articles. He has extensive experience in HEOR spanning real-world evidence, retrospective database studies, modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and patient reported outcomes. He served as an editor for many years at Medical Decision Making and reviews for several clinical and HEOR journals. One of his most influential publications is the catalogue of EQ-5D scores for chronic conditions used widely in cost-effectiveness models. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy from the University of Southern California and M.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
