Dr. Soon H. Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy. She graduated from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, where she also completed her PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) with clinical and teaching experience in internal medicine, cardiology, infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal disorders. With an academic foundation that includes master’s degrees in chemistry and several peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Yang brings a unique scientific and interdisciplinary background to her teaching and research.

Dr. Yang’s research centers on optimizing medication therapy and improving clinical outcomes in complex chronic disease states, with a particular focus on cardiometabolic and respiratory conditions. She actively integrates real-world evidence, retrospective cohort analysis, and meta-analytic methods to address clinically meaningful questions relevant to pharmacists and interdisciplinary providers.
