Dr. David Pino is a dedicated pharmacist and healthcare leader serving as the Pharmacy Manager at the NSU Health pharmacy. An alumnus of Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Pino graduated from the university’s Pharm.D. program in 2010 and returned in 2017 to continue serving the NSU community as both a healthcare professional and educator. He is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a welcoming, patient-centered pharmacy environment where customer service remains a top priority.

Passionate about helping others, Dr. Pino works closely with patients, students, and healthcare professionals to support the overall mission of the facility. He actively assists students through health fairs, experiential rotations, and mentorship opportunities, helping them gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of pharmacy. In addition, Dr. Pino occasionally teaches within the pharmacy curriculum, sharing his knowledge and practical expertise to help educate and inspire future pharmacists.

Pharmacy operations, compounding, workflow optimization, and the integration of patient-centered care within community pharmacy practice. Mentoring student pharmacists and helping them develop the practical skills, professionalism, and communication techniques necessary to succeed in today’s evolving healthcare environment.
