Tricia Gangoo-Dookhan, B.S., Pharm.D. (’00) transitioned into the role of Clinical Assistant Professor within NSU College of Pharmacy in March 2020. A licensed pharmacist for more than 25 years, Gangoo-Dookhan has had the opportunity to practice across many settings from community pharmacy to institutional pharmacy as well as owning and operating her independent community pharmacy. She has been recognized with several accomplishments throughout her career, including “Pharmacist of the Year” for BI-LO Pharmacy in 2012 for spearheading the implementation of Immunization and Medication Therapy Management programs for Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
In her current role at NSU, she oversees the telehealth operations and services provided to physician groups and accountable care organizations through NSU Clinical Pharmacy Solutions. This center utilizes faculty and 4th year students to provide services such as Medication Therapy Management, Transitions of Care and other pharmacy related support services. She is a licensed pharmacist in Florida and New Jersey, as has a consultant pharmacy license in Florida.
