About the Critical Care Symposium

The 2nd Annual Critical Care Symposium at Nova Southeastern University is designed to provide vital critical care updates to pharmacists who are actively practicing in acute care settings and those who are seeking to expand their understanding of critical care pharmacy. The curriculum features didactic and panel-based discussions led by local and national practice experts. The intent of this program is to keep pharmacists informed of general critical care principles and timely updates in critical care best practices. In addition to educational programming, there will be an opportunity to network with critical care practitioners across the country through live and virtual programming. There will be breakfast, lunch, and a sponsored dinner for those attending the program in person.

This program is targeted towards healthcare professionals in emergency medicine, critical care, inpatient hospital, and other practice settings. Membership within a professional organization is not required, and in-training pharmacists (e.g., residents and students) are also welcome to participate.

All those involved in the planning and delivery of this accredited continuing pharmacy education activity will address any relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies that they may have at the meeting.

The registration fee for this program is $50 for students/residents and $89 for all other attendees.

We will not be issuing refunds for the registration fee.

If you are unable to attend in person, your registration can be transferred to the virtual Zoom option. Please contact carsten@nova.edu to arrange this change.
