Dr. Graciela Armayor is the Director of Curriculum Development and Assistant Professor
in the Department of Sociobehavioral and Administrative Pharmacy at NSU-COP. Dr. Armayor
received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy
in 1987 and a Master of Science Degree in Health Professions Education from Nova Southeastern
University in 2006. She completed a joint clinical residency in Internal Medicine/Cardiology
at the University of Florida and the Gainesville Florida Veteran’s Administration
Hospital in 1988. She has been is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist since
1996.
Dr. Armayor has practiced in a number of clinical settings in Florida and Georgia
as a clinical pharmacist and clinical coordinator. She has been a faculty member at
NSU-COP since 1990. She currently coordinates and teaches the Pharmacy and the US
Health Care System course. Dr. Armayor's current research focuses on pharmacy workforce
issues, and the development and evaluation of innovative instructional and assessment
methods for health professions education.
