Accreditation

NSU's Doctor of Pharmacy program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

Overview

With the most culturally diverse College of Pharmacy in the U.S., Nova Southeastern University serves students from across the world. More than 1,000 students from over 30 countries are engaged in our prestigious doctoral degree programs.

Both new and experienced pharmacists study at NSU. The four-year entry-level program selects students based on pre-pharmacy academic performance, Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) scores, personal interviews, written applications, and letters of evaulation.

The advanced standing three-year program selects international pharmacy graduates based on previous academic performance, TOEFL/IELTS scores (if applicable), written applications, pharmacy experience, and letters of reference.

The rapidly growing Ph.D. program represents the highest level of preparation for an academic or research-based career.

In fall 2016 the college will admit its first class of students in the new M.S. in Pharmaceutical Affairs program located at the Miami Campus.

Program Options

The College of Pharmacy at NSU offers three degrees: the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and the Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Affairs (M.S.).

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programs serve new students and international students with a experience. Select your program of interest to learn more.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences prepares researchers and scientists to address the health-related issues of society.

Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Affairs helps prepare students for for positions in academia, managerial or sales positions in the pharmaceutical industry, contract research organizations, managed care organizations, health care system, and government agencies.
