A tour of the NSU campus is an architectural and intellectual feast, with cutting-edge research and learning facilities at every turn. Encompassing 300 acres on the western edge of Fort Lauderdale, Florida [map and directions], NSU is the modern-day embodiment of Thomas Jefferson's vision of a university as society's intellectual and cultural hub.
At the heart of it all is the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center - situated between a sparkling lake and wide-open green spaces, which serve as ideal backdrops for the numerous open-air festivals that take place on campus throughout the year. The library is flanked on one side by NSU's innovative H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering and Computing and on the other by the breathtaking new Don Taft University Center, our state-of-the art, multipurpose sports and recreation complex.
The NSU Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy is located in the Health Professions Division on the west side of campus. Interactive classrooms, pharmacy practice and research laboratories, and administrative offices are all in easy access to each other. The college shares the facility with the Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, Allopathic Medicine, Dental Medicine, Optometry, Health Care Sciences, and Nursing.
