At the heart of it all is the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center—situated between a sparkling lake and wide-open green spaces, which serve as ideal backdrops for the numerous open-air festivals that take place on campus throughout the year. The library is flanked on one side by NSU’s innovative H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences and on the other by the breathtaking new Don Taft University Center, our state-of-the art, multipurpose sports and recreation complex.
Across campus, Health Professions Division (a.k,a. Terry Building or HPD Building), is home to the university’s colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, Dental Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Allied Heath and Nursing, and more as well as medical and dental clinics that serve the neighboring community.
Palm Beach Campus

Following its first decade in Palm Beach County, which was marked by the success of producing nearly 400 pharmacy graduates, Nova Southeastern University Palm Beach has opened the doors to our newly constructed 75,000 square foot, state of the art, Student Educational Center (SEC) in the heart of beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This facility houses computer labs and classrooms that are fully equipped with the latest technology and multimedia capabilities, as well as two simulation labs for hands-on learning. Here students will find that our individualized approach to learning and the small class sizes in our Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) professional degree program promote team building and long lasting professional relationships. Our highly dedicated and nationally recognized faculty members provide professional and caring guidance, pharmacy expertise, and an unparalleled level of instruction for our students.

In Ponce, we have the same high quality education as in other sites programs. You should know that NSU not only was the pioneer in the long distance education, but also still remains the leader in that area. Compressed Video technology and videoconferencing are used to provide lectures between sites simultaneously, which provides for live interaction between faculty members and students regardless of location. Courses are taught from Florida to Ponce as well as from Ponce to Florida.
Now you have the opportunity to study and graduate from one of the best and at the seventh largest university of the United States right here in Puerto Rico. And, of course, our classes are in English, but if you are an English native or speaker of another other language different from Spanish, you have the added value of learning a new language and culture through interaction with the community.
