Validation of Prescriptions
for Controlled Substances

A mandatory educational course
for Florida Pharmacists

Program Features

Presenter Bob Parrado, a former Florida Board of Pharmacy member, explains how the new requirement “Validation of Prescriptions for Controlled Substances” came about. Bob has titled his program "Resolving Red Flags." He presented the state’s first program at a live conference for Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy last year in front of over 500 participants.
This presentation was created for those pharmacists who cannot easily travel to the live versions of the program.

  • Use the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program’s Database;
