Award Amount: $20,000 plus (a tuition grant of one-half tuition)
Deadline: November 1
Requirements: Students must be either a resident alien (i.e., hold a Green Card) have been naturalized as a U.S. citizen or be the child of two parents who are both naturalized citizens. A resident alien must have had more than one year of IRS filings. The applicant must either have a bachelor's degree or be in her/his final year of undergraduate study. Those who have a bachelor's degree may already be pursuing graduate study and may receive Fellowship support to continue that study. You must not be older than 30 years of age as of the application deadline.

AMERICAN FOUNDATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATION (AFPE)

Requirements: Faculty nominated applicant in any college awarding baccalaureate degrees who are actively undertaking research in the pharmaceutical sciences. Each student to be selected and nominated by the faculty member must be enrolled in a Pharm.D. program, have completed at least two years of college, and be enrolled in at least the first year of the professional pharmacy curriculum or be enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program and have completed at least one year of the degree program. This site also has other Pharmacy scholarships available.
