Target Audience

The Initial Consultant Pharmacist License Program is designed to prepare the pharmacist who is actively interested in advancing the profession of consultant pharmacy with the necessary professional and administrative responsibilities as outlined by the Board of Pharmacy in Rule 64B16 and Chapter 465.

The forty hours of assessment under an approved preceptor is the responsibility of the practitioner and occurs separately from this program.

For the consultant pharmacist seeking recertification, this program will serve as a review for the responsibilities as stated above and to offer the practitioner an opportunity to interact with experts within the various specialty fields of consultant pharmacy.
